  The Centre for OD organised a Roundtable Dialogue helmed by Professor Adrian Furnham, Professor in Psychology in the University of London on the topic of Leadership Behaviours in Shaping Organisational Culture. The Roundtable was attended by a small group of practitioners heading the OD function in various public sector agencies.
 “Creating a Positively Powerful Organisation”: A sharing on Appreciative Inquiry, the Singapore Prison Service Cluster B Experience - Event Learning Points

  At this sharing session, three different perspectives on the use of Appreciative Inquiry (AI) in the Singapore Prison Service Cluster B were presented. Commander of Cluster B, shared from a leadership perspective the anticipated challenges facing Cluster B, why AI was chosen as an approach, offered personal insights on how he convinced his officers to come onboard the AI journey and shared his reflections of the process. The external consultant engaged by Cluster B, shared the theoretical aspects of AI and how theories of AI were translated into practice in Cluster B from a consultant’s perspective. We also had an OD practitioner’s perspective on the strategy, challenges, opportunities as well as the learning points when using AI in Cluster B.
